4-Day Uganda Fly-in Gorilla Trekking Safari

On arrival at the airport in Entebbe, you will be picked up by a representative of Empathy Tours and transferred to your hotel. The hotel is located about 15 minutes from the airport so you will not have a long drive before you can check in and relax at the hotel.

You will be transferred to the airport for your bush flight to Bwindi impenetrable national park. Enjoy the beautiful landscape of Uganda's countryside. Your guide will be waiting at the airstrip to pick you up and transfer you to the lodge in Bwindi forest. You will spend the afternoon at leisure in preparation for all the trekking tomorrow.

After breakfast, you will transfer to the briefing point where you will receive instructions on how to conduct yourself while in the forest and once you locate the gorillas. The trek takes anything from minutes to hours in search of the gorillas depending on where they nested the previous night. Depending on the location of the family group you are located in, you might need to drive to the starting point after which you enter the forest to trek the gorillas.

Have your breakfast and after your guide will start your journey to the airstrip where you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight. Depending on your flight, you will have a meal with our representative to share your experience before you proceed.
