3-Day Wildlife Adventures in Queen Elizabeth National Park
Overview
This tour gives you the opportunity to interact with almost 100 mammal species and a remarkable 606 bird species that make this superb safari territory, with elephant and handsome Uganda Kobs all regularly sighted around the tourist village on the Mweya Peninsula - which also boasts a marvelous waterfront setting in the shadow of the Rwenzori Mountains. You will have the rarest encounter with the Chimpanzees of Kyambura Gorge and the abundant aquatic wildlife along the famous Kazinga Channel.

Day to Day Itinerary
Day 1 : Transfer to queen Elizabeth national park
Our driver-guide picks you up from Kampala at your home by 7:00 am after your morning breakfast, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Your first stopover is done at the Equator crossing for pictures. You will continue driving to Igongo cultural centre in Mbarara where you will have lunch at Agip Motel. Thereafter proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park as you enjoy beautiful scenery, herds of long-horned Ankole cattle, tea plantations in Ishaka, Rift valley escarpment, open grassland and woodland savanna. Evening game drive for sightseeing is much more interesting en route as you drive to a lodge where you will have an overnight. Dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Game drive and boat cruise
Begin your day with a cup of coffee. Early morning game drive along Kasenyi and Queens Mile makes a wonderful moment as you see elephants, buffalo, water bucks, warthogs, lions, Uganda Kobs lakes and a variety of birds. From here you will have your lunch at the lodge. After lunch, a boat cruise at Kazinga Channel is waiting to take you through a beautiful moment as you see a number of animals like Hippo, Buffalo, Kobs, Elephants, warthogs and other like spectacular birds. Dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Chimpanzee trekking and transfer to kampala
Today is dedicated to a guided Chimpanzee trekking along Kyambura Gorge where we shall find chimps through the gorge. After the chimpanzee trekking in Kyambura, drive and return to Kampala with lunch en route at your convenience back to your home or to your next destination.
