3-Day Big 5 Safari in Murchison Falls National Park
Overview
This safari takes you to Uganda’s largest park, Murchison Falls National Park, and offers an opportunity to see Africa’s big five and much more in this magnificent park. You will experience a rhino walking safari in Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, a boat cruise on the Nile spotting animals on the banks, and two game drives in the open savanna looking for elephants, leopards, lions, and plenty of birds.

Day to Day Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls- Evening Game Drive
On this day you will be picked up from Kampala and transferred by road to Murchison falls National Park. Head straight to the top of the mighty falls where the Nile squeezes through a 7 meters gorge to the falls 45 meters, a very impressive view of the foaming waters rushing into the gorge with a deafening sound. Later Check in at Paraa Safari Lodge for lunch at 2:00 pm. In the evening go for a game drive at 4:00 pm with chances of sighting leopards, lions, giraffes, elephants, buffaloes and over 4 species of antelopes. Get back to the lodge for dinner.
Day 2: Morning Game Viewing-Afternoon Boat Cruise
Have early breakfast and set off for a morning game drive on the Northern delta with sightings of cape buffaloes, Jackson’s hartebeest, Rothschild’s giraffes, oribi, bushbuck, boho reedbuck, warthog and large carnivores including lions, leopard and spotted hyenas.
You will return to the lodge for relaxation before setting off for the afternoon boat trip on the Victoria Nile to the bottom of the Murchison falls where you will be rewarded with spectacular views. En route you will see hippos, crocodiles cooling off on the shores and a variety of bird species.
Get back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park-Entebbe
After a delicious breakfast, depart with unforgettable memories of Murchison Falls National Park, Expect a visit at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided Rhino Trekking for one hour. With lunch en route you will be dropped at your point of drop off like the airport, home or hotel.
